Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms of use carefully before using this site and/or any games. By using this site and/or any games provided by EA Productions (EAP), you signify your consent to these terms of use.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the site or the games. Use of Games is also subject to our Privacy Policy as well as the Supplemental Terms, which are incorporated herein by this reference.
Your access to and use of Finding Alice (finding-alice.com) (the “Site”), as well as any and all games and/or apps licensed to customers by EAP, and/or any affiliate or subsidiary of EAP, via the Site or third party providers is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), all terms and conditions of any agreement provided by any third party provider, and all applicable laws.
In addition, we require your acceptance to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, the terms of which are incorporated herein by reference, when you register to access and use EAP services (such as chat rooms, in game chat messaging, bulletin boards, etc.) (collectively the “Services).
If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, then you are not permitted to register for access or use of the Services and are not to use or access the Services. By accessing and browsing the Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that any other agreements between you and EAP are superseded and of no force or effect:


1. The Site, all Games, the Services, and all materials contained in the Site, the Services, and any Games are maintained for your personal entertainment and information. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions, EAP hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access, view, download, and use the Site, the Services, and the Games solely for your personal and non-commercial purposes. For purposes of clarity and without limiting or waiving any term or condition set forth elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and agree that EAP is entitled, with immediate effect, to block your access to the Site, any Services, any Games, provided in connection with either if EAP determines, in its sole discretion, that your use violates any applicable law and/or otherwise constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions in any way. Your right to access and use the Site, the Services and/or any Game is provided at our discretion, and your account may be suspended or terminated at any time and for any reason.
No material from the Site or any Game may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, except that you may download one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, non-commercial home use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.
Modification or use of the materials for any other purpose is a violation of the copyright and other proprietary rights of EAP and the artists who created the materials. You may not distribute, modify, transmit or use the content of the Site, , the Services or any Game, including any and all graphics and/or sound files, for public or commercial purposes without the express written permission of EAP.
You acknowledge and agree that, with regard to any Game downloaded from a third party provider (such as Apple, Google/Android, Amazon, etc.), even though EAP is not a party to any license between you and such third party, EAP shall be a third party beneficiary of such third party’s end user license agreement. You also agree that, as a third-party beneficiary to any such end user license agreement, EAP shall have the right to enforce such license against you.


2. All Games, text, data, graphics files, sound files and other materials contained in the Site and/or promoted or made available on the Site and/or through the Services are copyrighted unless otherwise noted and are the property of G5 and/or a supplier to G5. No such materials may be used except as provided in these Terms and Conditions.


3. All trade names, trademarks, and images and biographical information of people contained in the Site, the Services and/or any Games are either the property of, or used with permission by, EAP. The use of these materials by you is prohibited unless specifically permitted by these Terms and Conditions. Any unauthorised use of these materials may violate the copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights of EAP and/or third parties, as well as the laws of privacy and publicity, and other regulations and statutes. Nothing contained in this Agreement, and Game, or in the Site shall be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark or other proprietary information without the express written consent of the owner thereof.


4. While EAP uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information in the Site and the Services, as well as the Games, EAP makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. EAP assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Site, the Services and/or any Game.


5. When you register with EAP and/or this Site, the Services and/or any Game, you expressly consent to receive any notices, announcements, agreements, disclosures, reports, documents, communications concerning new products or services, or other records or correspondence from EAP. You consent to receive notices electronically by way of transmitting the notice to you by email.


6. If you send comments or suggestions about the Site, the Services and/or any Game to EAP, including, but not limited to, notes, text, drawings, images, designs or computer programs, to EAP, such submissions shall become, and shall remain, the sole property of EAP. No submission shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of EAP.
EAP shall exclusively own all rights to (including intellectual property rights thereto), and shall be entitled to unrestricted use, publication, and dissemination as to all such submissions for any purpose, commercial or otherwise without any acknowledgment or compensation to you.


7. EAP shall use commercially reasonable efforts to restrict unauthorised access to our data and files. However, no system whether or not password protected can be entirely impenetrable. You acknowledge that it may be possible for an unauthorised third party to access, view, copy, modify, or distribute the data and files you store using the Site, the Services, and/or any game. Use of the Site, the Services and/or any Game is completely at your own risk.


8. Your use of the Site, the Services and/or any Game, in connection with any of those shall governed by EAP’S Code of Conduct.


a) Unacceptable Online Conduct. Any attempt by you to disrupt, or encourage or promote the disruption of the Site, any Service, any Game, and/or any related service may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. You agree that you will not violate any applicable law, rule or regulation in connection with your use of the Site, any Service, any Game, and/or any related service nor will you interrupt or attempt to interrupt the operation of the Site, any Game, and/or any related service in any way, including without limitation, by doing any of the following:
b) using any unauthorised third-party software that intercepts, or otherwise collects, information from or through the Services;
c) modifying or causing any files that are a part of the Site, any game, and/or any related service to be modified in any way;
d facilitating, creating or maintaining any unauthorised connection to the Site, any Game, and/or any Service;
e) using any third-party software that allows you to have an advantage in game playing that was not intended by the Game’s design and/or using game chats for transmitting information about such programs;
f) using of the Site, any Service, any Game, and/or any service offered in connection with either for purposes of promoting or advertising third party goods and/or services of any nature; or
g) disrupting or assisting in the disruption of any computer used to support the Site, any Game, and/or any Service or another individual’s access to or use of any of the foregoing.
h) Username Rules. EAP may change your username and/or avatar, block your registration, remove your username and/or avatar from all aspects of the Site, any Game, and/or any related Service, and/or suspend or terminate your access to the Site, any Game, and/or any related Service, if EAP determines, in its sole discretion, that your username and/or avatar is contrary to the Code of Conduct and/or these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, the requirements set forth in this Section 8. You may not use any name:

  • that belongs to another person with the intent to impersonate that person or that may mislead others to believe you to be the other person an employee of EAP;
  • that uses vulgar or insulting language or which is otherwise offensive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or religiously charged, or other language EAP considers objectionable;
  • that belongs to any celebrity, media personality, popular culture persona, or any other name protected by a third-party’s trademark(s), service mark, publicity rights or other proprietary rights;
  • that is, contains, or is substantially similar to, a trademark or service mark belonging to any third party, whether registered or not;
  • that is related to drugs, sex, alcohol, or criminal activity; and/or
  • that EAP otherwise finds offensive and/or inappropriate for any reason, in G5’s sole discretion.

i) Rules Related to Use of the Site and Games and other Services. If you download or otherwise access the Site, any Game, and/or any other content and/or Services provided by EAP and breach the terms and conditions associated with that access, or otherwise use and/or access such Game or content in a manner that EAP deems inappropriate (including without limitation any behaviour that EAP in its sole discretion finds to be offensive, unlawful, harassing, pornographic, promoting nudity, racial or ethnic hatred in any manner), then your use of this Site, any such Game, any Service, and/or your user account may be immediately terminated or suspended in EAP’s sole discretion.


k) EAP will not intentionally disclose any personally identifying information about you (including information regarding your IP address) to third parties, except where EAP, in good faith, believes such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or enforce these Terms of Service or other rules of EAP games. EAP may use your user content, including without limitation, your name, username, game or tournament records and winnings in accordance with Sections 5 and 6 hereof. By using the Site, as well as any Game, you signify your acceptance of EAP’s Privacy Policy.

  • Description: This tier offers a longer and more challenging experience, suitable for adults and families with older children. Participants will navigate through challenging terrain and encounter a mixture of puzzles and riddles that require a combination of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Difficulty ratings

Tier 1: “Junior Explorers”

  • Time: Short, max 1 hour
  • Distance: Minimal, suitable for short walks
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Target Audience: Primary aged children
  • Description: This tier offers a quick and easy adventure suitable for young children. The puzzles and riddles are simple and solvable by primary aged children, making it a fun and accessible experience for families with young kids.

 

Tier 2: “Young Adventurers”

  • Time: 1-2 hours
  • Distance: Moderate, with some soft inclines
  • Difficulty: Moderate
  • Target Audience: Primary and secondary aged children
  • Description: This tier extends the adventure a bit longer with slightly more challenging puzzles and clues. It’s suitable for both primary and secondary aged children, offering a mix of fun and educational challenges in a slightly longer duration.

 

Tier 3: “Explorer’s Quest”

  • Time: Half day, 2-3 hours
  • Distance: Moderate to extended, with some inclines
  • Difficulty: Intermediate
  • Target Audience: Families and groups
  • Description: This tier provides a more immersive experience with increased distance and terrain challenges. Participants can expect a half-day adventure with a variety of puzzles and riddles to solve, suitable for families and groups looking for a longer and more engaging experience.

 

Tier 4: “Trailblazers”

  • Time: Long, 3-4 hours (can be extended to a full day with lunch break)
  • Distance: Extended, challenging inclines 
  • Difficulty: Challenging
  • Target Audience: Adults and families with older children
  • Description: This tier offers a longer and more challenging experience, suitable for adults and families with older children. Participants will navigate through challenging terrain and encounter a mixture of puzzles and riddles that require a combination of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

 

Tier 5: “Ultimate Expedition”

  • Time: Full day, approximately 5 hours
  • Distance: Long, suitable for experienced walkers
  • Difficulty: Advanced
  • Target Audience: Adults and experienced adventurers
  • Description: This tier presents the ultimate challenge for seasoned adventurers. Participants will embark on a full-day expedition through varying terrain, solving complex puzzles and riddles designed to test their intellect and endurance. Recommended for adults and experienced adventurers seeking a truly immersive and challenging experience.
